Biography
Prof. Dr. Md. Nur Alam is one of top 2% scientists working in the fields of computational mathematics like Subdivision schemes, Geometrical modeling, Bilinear Neural Network technique, computer graphics, CAGD, fluid mechanics, CFD, Differential Equations and fractional calculus according to Elsevier and Stanford University, USA in September 2022, 2023 and 2024. Prof. Dr. Md. Nur Alam ia a Professor at the department of Mathematics, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna, Bangladesh was born in Panchagarh, Bangladesh on 01 March 1986. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M. Sc. (Thesis) in Mathematics from Rajshahi University, Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2008 and 2009, respectively. His M. Sc. thesis was devoted to the applied mathematics to the studies on the nonlinear oscillations in perturbation theory. He also awarded M. Phil Degree in Mathematics in the field of mathematical physics in 2015 from Pabna University of Science and technology, Bangladesh. His M. Phil. thesis was devoted to the group approach to the study of Novel (G’/G)-expansion method and its applications of the nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics. Finally, he successfully completed his Ph. D. in Computational Mathematics under a very prestigious scholarship, “CAS-TWAS Scholarship” at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), China. His Ph. D. thesis was mainly concerned with Computer Aided Geometric Design and Computer Graphics. His PhD thesis was devoted to the computational mathematics to the Non-Uniform Subdivision Surfaces via Eigen Polyhedron. In 2012, he joined in a Lecture, the Department of Mathematics, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna-6600, Bangladesh. In 2014, he joined in an Assistant Professor, the Department of Mathematics, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna-6600, Bangladesh. In 2020, he joined in an Associate Professor, the Department of Mathematics, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna-6600, Bangladesh. In 2024 to till date, He is doing as a Professor, the Department of Mathematics, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna-6600, Bangladesh. His current research interests include Soliton Physics, Mathematical modeling in Physics, the theoretical plasma physics, mathematical physics, integral and fractional order of PDEs, nonlinear dynamics Subdivision schemes, Geometrical modeling, Bilinear Neural Network technique, CFD, fluid flow, Mass and heat transfer, blood flow, computer graphics, CAGD, Mechanic Learning, Artificial Neural Network and IGA. Dr. Alam’s research work already received 2,845 citations with h-index 31, and i10-index 81 and also his research work already received 1,845 citations with h-index 26 with Scopus ID. Prof. Alam participated in and presented (keynote speaker, invited speaker, guest speaker, oral presenter, and poster presenter) his research findings at many national and international conferences. Presently, he has supervised eight MSc students and 25 B.Sc. (honors) students. He serves as an Associate Editor, Academic Editor, Guest Editor, Chief Editor, and Editorial Board Member for prestigious international journals. Md. Nur Alam is a son of Md. Tariqul Islam and Rousnara Begum. He was born in the village Rampur, post office Bamankumar, Atwari of Panchagarh district in 1 March, 1986. He has two brothers and one sister.
