Biography
Dr. Kabir Uddin Ahmed is currently working as Senior Scientific Officer of Entomology, Tuber Crops Research Centre Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute Joydebpur, Gazipur, Bangladesh. He obtained his PhD in Entomology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Salna, Gazipur. He has a total of 18 years job experience. He started scientific career in Entomology at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) in 1997 as Scientific Officer and after promotion now working as a Senior Scientific Officer. He is also conducting research on integrated pest management of different crops and invited as a resource person in training programs, seminars & workshops by different organizations. He also contributed a number of useful IPM technologies and concepts. He has published 15 scientific articles in national and international journals and wrote several reports and proceedings. He is professional member of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute Scientists Association, Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh, and life member of Bangladesh Entomological Society.
