Biography

Dr. Hsing-Lung Lien holds a position of Professor at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He has completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Lehigh University, USA. Previously he was Research Associate at The Ground Water and Ecosystems Restoration Division, USEPA, and Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Dr. Hsing-Lung received honors includes Excellence in Research Award, National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Best Research Paper Award, Journal of Chinese Institute of Environmental Engineering, Chinese Institute of Environmental Engineering Taiwan, and Best Paper Award in The Second International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology, Houston, TX, USA, and Associate ship Award, National Research Council, USA. He is professional member of American Chemical Society (ACS) Environmental Chemistry Division, International Water Association (IWA), and Chinese Institute of Environmental Engineering Taiwan (CIEE). He has published 6 book chapters, and 24 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
