Biography

Dr. Perihan Binnur Kurt-Karakus is currently working as Chair and Associate Professor at Bursa Technical University, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Architecture and Engineering, Environmental Engineering Department Bursa, Turkey. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Lancaster University, UK. His corporate experience includes Research Assistant, Research Scientist at Ondikuz Mayis University, and Assistant Professor at Bahcesehir University. He is member of Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry and Chamber of Environmental Engineers, Turkey. He successfully completed 11 research projects as researcher and principal investigator. He has published 15 research articles in journals 13 book and book chapters, 44 conference proceeding, and 1 book chapter contributed as author/co-author. Dr. Perihan received honors includes Young Scientists Recognition Award from American Chemical Society (ACS), and William Ritchie Travel Fund Award for Research Students.
