Dr. Duvvuri Satya Subrahmanyam is currently working as Scientist & Head of the Division at National Institute of Rock Mechanics, India. He obtained his PhD in Geology from Bangalore University, India. His main area of interest related to Geology, Geotechnical Engineering and Rock Mechanics. His area of expertise includes Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Rock Mechanics, Mining, Tunneling, Rock Engineering, and Excavation. He has published 84 technical reports, 5 research reports, 18 papers in refereed journals, 31 papers in seminar and symposia, and 1 book chapter contributed as author/co-author.
