Biography

Dr. Imran Ali is currently working as Professor at Department of Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), India. He has completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Previously he was appointed as Scientist at National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee, Reader and Associate Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, Central University, Scientist, Visiting Scientist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Visiting consultant at Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman, Visiting Professor at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and University of Technology, Johar Bahru, Malaysia. He has successfully supervised 13 PhD thesis, and 18 MSc thesis. His area of research interest focuses on Environmental Chemistry, Anti-cancer and Chiral Drugs, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Analyses by Chromatography and Capillary Electrophoresis. He is regional editor for Current Chromatography, Bentham Science Publishers, USA, Section Editor for Current Drug Therapy, Bentham Science Publishers, USA, Associate Editor, Analytical Chemistry Letters, Taylor & Francis, USA and member of editor board in 10 journals. He is also serving as reviewer for more than 50 International Journals. He is life member of Chromedia News, Chromedia Chromatographers Community, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Society of Analytical Scientists, Chromatographic Society of India, and Indian Association for Cancer Research, and American Nano Society.
