Biography

Presently working (2007 - till date) as Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of Botany, V. O. Chidambaram College, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, India. Worked as Scientific Assistant (1997-2007), Indian Cardamom Research Institute, Spices Board, Myladumpara, Idukki District, Kerala, India. Worked as Junior Project Fellow (1992-1996) in a Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India, New Delhi Sponsored major project entitled "South Indian Tribal pulses: Germplasm Management & Biochemical Studies". Secured distinction in M.Phil degree. Guided nearly 15 M.Sc students for their Dissertation works. Attended three training programs. attended 19 conferences / workshops / symposium. Published 54 research papers. Awarded M.S. Oration Medal 2000 constituted by the President and Members of the Governing Council, Society of Bio-naturalists, Bhopal, M.P, India. Got h-index 10 and i10-index 10 in Google Scholar.
