Biography

Prof. Vimal Kumar is having more than 19 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He did his M.Pharm from Sagar University, Sagar (M.P.) and Ph.D. from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He has published more than 54 research and review papers in various National and International journals. He has been nominated as a member of editorial board and advisory board of more ten National and International Journals including “Arabian Journal of Chemistry” Published by Elsevier, Text Editor of “Pharmacognosy Review”, Associate Editor of Journal “The Pharmacist”, Executive Editor of “International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research & Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Pharmacy, Pharmacology & Pharmacognosy (JPPP). He is working in the area of Herbal Technology, Pharmacognosy, Medicinal Plant Biotechnology and Phytopharmacology of Anti Asthmatic Herbal Drugs. He has received financial assistance under the Sci-Tech Project Scheme and also Minor Research Project of worth 05 Lacs from GUJCOST, Gandhinagar. He is providing his professional services to Rajeev Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal, Bhavnagar University, Gujarat University, Sardar Patel University, Ganpat University, North Gujarat University, Patan, Nagpur University, Nagpur, Jaipur National university, Jaipur, Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, NIMS University, Jaipur, Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU), Gandhinagar, Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidhalaya, Gandhinagar, Peoples University, Bhopal, Rajasthan Health University, Jaipur & Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), Gandhinagar. He is a recognized P.G. and Ph. D. Guide of Nirma University. He is a life member of various professional societies like APTI, IPGA, IPA, IPS, ISP and Society of Pharmacovigilence, India. He has coordinated two international conferences, three national conferences and two short term training programs (STTPs). He has delivered more than 32 guest, plenary lecture and invited lecture in various seminars, STTPs, AICTE Sponsored SDPs,FDPs workshops, National and International conferences. He has also chaired the scientific session of various National and International conferences. Presently He is providing his services to Indian Society of Pharmacognosy as a National Joint Secretary.
