Biography

Kishore Polireddy, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. Polireddy received his Master’s degree in Biology from The Western Kentucky University and his PhD in Toxicology from the University of Kansas Medical Center under the supervision of Dr.Qi Chen. Polireddy gained extensive knowledge in cancer biology field during his PhD. His recent research activities include identification of functional significance of ABCB6 over expression to hepatocellular carcinoma, studying the mechanism of anticancer activities of high dose ascorbate, developing novel ascorbate combination treatments for pancreatic cancer patients, developing novel epithelial to mesenchymal transition inhibitors for targeting pancreatic cancer stem cells. Currently he is trying to identify the functional significance of mutant p53 in induction of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma from ductal epithelial cells. Polireddy serves on the editorial boards of The American Journal of Science and Medical Research, Biolife Journal. He is also serving as reviewer for journals Onco Targets and Therapy, Chinese medicine, Journal of Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Narayana Medical Journal, Cancer Research Journal, Journal of Cancer Treatment and Research, Cancer Science and Research, Patient preference and adherence, American Journal of Medical Case Reports, Archives in cancer research, Journal of Nutritional Health and Food Science, Journal of Cancer Research and Treatment. He has authored or co-authored over 10 manuscripts and received young investigator award from the Society of Integrative Oncology for his outstanding work on understanding the anticancer activities of high dose ascorbate. This work has been featured in both national and international media.
