Biography

Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram is currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women, Mysuru, Karnataka State, India. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram obtained his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli in 1989, M.Tech from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in 2006 and Ph.D.in Computer Science & Engineering from Anna University Chennai in 2014. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has also completed M.B.A. from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2000, Master of Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University in 2003 and Master of Foreign Trade from Pondicherry University in 2005.His area of research is Wireless Communication Networks. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram was awarded Ph.D. for his research work entitled “Certain investigations of Multimedia Traffic and Optimization of OLSR Protocol for enhancement of Quality of Service (QoS) in Mobile Adhoc Networks”. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has published 29 papers in refereed International Journals, presented 3 papers in International Conferences and has delivered more than 40 seminars. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram is a reviewer of Springer – Soft Computing Journal, International Journal of Ah Hoc Network Systems, Journal of Engineering Science and Technology, Taylor’s University, Malaysia and International Journal of Computational Science & Engineering, Inderscience Publishers, UK. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has organized more than 25seminars / Workshops / FDPs. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has attended more than 30 Workshops/ Seminars and organized 20 Workshops / Seminars / FDPs. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has acted as Chairperson for Conferences and Judge for Technical Symposia in various Engineering Colleges for more than 20 occasions. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has authored 2 books in Fundamentals of Computers and Programming in C in the year 2001. His area of interest includes Computer Networks, Wireless Communication, Software Engineering,Optical Networks and Data Mining. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and a member of Computer Society of India (CSI). Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram is a member of Advisory Committee for ISRASE eXPLORE Digital Library and Reviewer for International Journal of Recent Advances in Science & Engineering. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram is a Fellow of Universal Association of Computers and Electronics Engineers, a Fellow of the International Association of Computer Science & Information Technology, a member of Institute of Doctors, Engineers and Scientists, a member of International Association of Engineers, a member of Computer Science Teachers Association, USA. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has officiated as the ManagementCommittee member of the CSI Chapter, Tiruchirappalli Region, Tamil Nadu State, during the year 2013-2014. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram was the Secretary of ISTE Staff and Student’s Chapter during the period 2008 – 2014. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram acted as Chairman of the CSE Board during the Central Valuation of Anna University, Chennai during the academic year 2012-2013 and also a Question Paper setter for Madras University Bharathidasan University, SASTRA University and VTU, Belagavi. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has been a member of the Staff Selection Committee for more than 10 Engineering Colleges for the past 20 years. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has officiated as the Management Representative for obtaining ISO 9001:2008 for a period of 4 years during 2010-2014 and is also a Certified Auditor for ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System. Also Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has acted as NBA Co-ordinator for five Engineering Colleges since 2008. Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundaram has 26 Years of experience in teaching since 1989 and more than 20 years as a HoD of CSE Department.
