Biography

Dr. Ramjeet Singh Yadav obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, in 29 January, 2016. The title of his research work is “Modeling Academic Performance Evaluation Using Soft Computing Techniques”. He was the Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applications, M.G. Kashi Vidhyapith, Varanasi during 1st September 2002 to 31 July 2011. Apart from this, he was Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management, Varanasi since 1 August 2011 to 4 August 2021. Currently he is Assistant Professor (Computer Application) in the Department of Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya. During the last 21 years of his service at the M.G. Kashi Vidhyapith and Ashoka Engineering College, his teaching, research, and development interests have been in the areas of Soft Computing, Pattern Recognition, machine learning, deep learning and decision science in management. Through the PhD degree, my course work has covered a wide range of topics in Computer Science and Engineering. My research in Soft Computing area with my major advisor Prof. Pervez Ahmad and Prof. A.K. Soni, have provided me with the opportunity to understand Soft Computing Techniques (Fuzzy Logic, Probabilistic Reasoning, Artificial Neural Networks and Neuro-Fuzzy Systems, Mathematical Modelling in Epidemiology) as well as improve their performance by providing better Students Academic Performance Evaluation model designs with help of Soft Computing techniques to avoid the previous designs shortcomings. My research interests and experience span a wide range of topics in Soft Computing Techniques (Fuzzy Logic, Probabilistic Reasoning, Artificial Neural Networks and Neuro-Fuzzy Systems) to evaluate student academic performance. Since 2005 to 2021, I published 35 research papers in reputable journals and conferences. As an Associate Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ashoka Institute of Technology and Management affiliated to Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, I have gained valuable experience in teaching and supervising undergraduate students and heading the department. In addition to classroom instruction, I served as a major advisor for students in their graduate projects, where I provided them with appropriate research topics, edited and evaluated their work. Through my career as a assistant professor and associate professor, I taught many courses in computer science and information technology fields, from soft computing, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition and data mining.
