Biography
Dr. Ekta Menghani, Women Scientist-A, possess sixteen years research experience in the field of Indian Medicinal Plants and their various bioefficacies and standardized 13 single and 9 compound formulations of ISM (Indian System of Medicines) Drugs under Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeial Committee(APC) Project sanctioned by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India. Simultaneously, during her scientific path she worked on various bioactivity guided fractionation of different extracts lead to bioactives with potent antimicrobial, antioxidant, antidiabetic and anticancerous agents and have expertise on qualitative and quantitative studies of various natural products by HPLC. Recently she is also working on nine projects (major, minor and student) sanctioned from Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, India of approx. of 20 million Rs for Women Technology Park, Cognitive Science Omnics Theory and Centre with Potentials for Excellence in Biotechnology. She contributed more than sixty publication in National and International Journal of Repute and published 15 books to her credit.
