Biography

Dr. Nongmaithem Raju Singh is currently working as Scientist at Division of Crop Research, ICAR-Research Complex for Eastern Patna, Bihar (INDIA). He has completed his M.Sc. (Agroforestry) from GBPUAT, Pantnagar and PhD Forestry (Agroforestry) from NAU, Navasri (Gujarat). During his PhD programme, he was the recipient of INSPIRE fellow (Funded by DST, New Delhi). He worked on the PhD research topic ‘Crop diversity, productivity and soil nutrient dynamics of dominant agroforestry systems of Navsari district, Gujarat’. He was the recipient of ASPEE Foundation Gold Plated Silver Medal in the Fourteenth Annual Convocation of Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari for securing the highest Overall Grade point Average and rating of the thesis in the Degree of Ph.D. (Forestry). He has published more than 7 research articles, 3 book chapters and 4 short articles under his name. He also served as reviewers for different publication house like Science Domain, Journal of Environmental Biology, etc. He also attended many International/ National/conferences, seminars and workshops.
