Biography

Dr. Parminder Kaur is currently working as Assistant Professor at Guru Nanak Dev University, India. She obtained her Ph.D. in Engineering and Technology from same University. Her area of research related to Software Engineering with specialization in Version Management of Component-Based Systems. The main emphasis of the research is on the version control during Evolution of Component-based Systems. The other areas of interest include Software Reuse, Software Architecture and Open-source Systems. She supervised 32 M.C.A, 40 B.Tech, and 12 M.Tech students. She has published (23) research papers in national and international journals, (4) book chapters, and (41) papers in national and international conferences contributed as author/co-author. She also attended many conferences/seminars/workshops. She is life member of Punjab Science Congress, and Computer Society of India. She is also member of editorial review Committee, The International Arab Journal of Information Technology (IAJIT), Zarqa University, Jordan, editorial review Committee member, B.D. Arya Girls College, Jalandhar Cantt, and editorial review Committee member, Doaba College, Jalandhar.
