Biography

Dr. Shreenivas R. Deshpande is currently working Professor at HSK College of Pharmacy, Bagalkote. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Chemistry from Hanagal Shri Kumareshwar College of Pharmacy, Bagalkot, India. Previously he was appointed as Lecturer at SET’s College of Pharmacy, Dharwad, KLES’ College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru and Sri Siddaganga College of Pharmacy, Tumkur, Assistant Professor KLES’ College of Pharmacy, Hubli, and Professor at G. Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad. He has completed 7 research projects. Currently he is guiding 1 PhD and 1 M. Pharm student. His main area of research interest focuses on Organic Transformations, Development of small Molecule Therapeutic Agents, Sydnones as Therapeutic Agents, Green Chemistry, and Nitric Oxide. Dr. Shreenivas received honors includes Biography included in Marquis Who’s Who in the World 2011, Best paper in the discipline of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and National Merit Scholarship. He is also serving as reviewer for Organic Communications, Journal of Basic and Clinical Pharmacy, Journal of Research in Environmental Sciences and toxicology, European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry Research, Journal of Bioscience and Medicine, Journal of Chromatography and Separation Techniques, Journal of Medicinal Plant Research, Drug Design Development and Therapy, and Mini Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry. He is member of Doctoral Committee in Pharmacy, PRIST University, Thanjavur, Board of Studies in Pharmacy (UG), Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bengaluru, Alumni Association, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal, life member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers’ of India, Bengaluru, and member of editorial board in Journal of Bioscience and Medicine. He has published 17 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
