Biography

Mr. C. Viswanathan is Ph.D. Student in Marine Biology from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India. Currently he is working as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a project funded by Ministry of Environment & Forest (MoEn & F) at same Institute. His field of interest related to Marine Brachyuran Crab Taxonomy (Numerical & Molecular), Barcoding of Marine Brachyuran Crabs, Phylogeny and Phylogeography of Marine Crustaceans, Genetic Variation study in Marine Fauna, Toxicological Study, Mud Crab Biology & Culture, and Mud Crab Sea Ranching. He has (4) publications in journals, (3) chapters in book, (9) research papers/poster presented in conferences/seminars contributed as author/co-author. He also participated/attended many conferences/seminars/and workshops.
