Biography
Dr. Sandip Debnath received his Ph.D. in Genetics, and M.Sc (Ag.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, India in 2013 & 2009 respectively. He also worked as Senior Research Fellow at B.C.K.V., Mohanpur, Nadia, W.B, and at Division of Crop Improvement, CRIJAF, Barrackpore, Kolkata. Dr. Sandip Debnath also received honors includes University Merit Scholarship during under graduate and post graduate studies for six years, Qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Life Science, Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lectureship conducted by ICAR in the discipline Crop Improvement, and DST, Govt. of India sponsored INSPIRE Fellowship under Assured Opportunity for Research Careers (AORC) scheme. He is author and co-author of 6 journal papers, 1 article, and 1 proceeding/book chapter.
