Biography
Dr. Kusum Verma is currently working as Research Associate (RA) in the area of Plant Microbe Interactions at NBRI, Lucknow (U.P.) India. She obtained her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Banasthali University, India. She is having 2 years research experience and 6 month teaching experience. Her area of research focuses on Heavy Metal Accumulation, Toxicity and Tolerance Mechanisms, Oxidative Stress and Tolerance Mechanisms, Enzyme Extraction and Characterization, Protein-protein Interaction Studies, Molecular Biology and Molecular Genetics, and Plant Tissue Culture. Dr. Kusum Verma received honors includes Awarded Women Scientist-B, Awarded CSIR-RA, and Senior Research Fellowship (CSIR-SRF), and Gargi Scholarship. She has published 6 research papers in journals, 2 book chapters, 4 papers presented in conferences/seminars/symposium as author/co-author.
