Biography

Dr. Ansari Abdul Salam was grown up at Sanganer, Bhilwara, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1989 at University Raj, India. His field of Specialization is in Reproductive Physiology - Fertility Regulation. He has 30 years of research experience including 20 years teaching experience. He is actively involved in the pursuance of research work under the project entitled “Phase III clinical trials on SMA/RISUG® as an injectable intravasal contraceptive for the male”, sponsored by the ICMR, New Delhi. He is life member of many national and international societies. He received number of honors include Fellowship Award, Young Muslim Scientist Award 1999, Labhsetwar Award-2014. He attended various national and international conferences/symposia and training courses/workshops. He unanimously elected as the Treasurer of the ISSRF, member of Editorial Board of many Journals, Conference organized, International Conference on Reproductive Health and 20th Annual Meeting of ISSRF (ICRH-2010), National Conference on AIDS. He has published 47 research papers in national & international journals, 16 books as author/co-author. Number of PhD students receives awards in his supervision and 5 PhD currently in his supervision. He has taught B.Ed. classes as Lecturer at the Regional College of Education, Ajmer. He also worked as Post-doctoral Research Associate in the University Department of Zoology, Jaipur, served as Lecturer at the GK Gowani Govt College, Bhinmal Distt Jalore (Raj), Assistant Professor and currently working as Associate Professor at the University Department of Zoology, Jaipur.
