Dr Jameel Akhtar is a Principal Scientist at ICAR-NBPGR, India with ~20 years of experience; Ph.D. (Plant Pathology) from GBPUA&T, India; guided 6 MSc students; published >100 research papers, 45 book chapters, 3 edited books, 25 technical articles, 45 popular articles etc.; recipient of awards/honours Young Scientist Award - 2007-08 by UP Govt & KC Mehta & Manoranjan Mitra Award in 2023.
