Biography

Dr. Subhash Babu is currently working as Scientist at ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region Sikkim Centre India. He obtained his PhD in Agronomy from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. He is life member of Indian Society of Agronomy, New Delhi, and Forum for Plant Physiologist, Akola, Maharashtra (India), Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata, Indian Society of Weed Science, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Indian Association of Soil and Water Conservationists, Dehradun, U.K. (India), and Indian Association of Hill Farming, Umiam, Barapani, Meghalaya (India). He also attended number of conferences, workshops and symposium. He successfully completed 2 research projects funded by NAIP. He has published 59 research articles in journals, 13 book chapters contributed as author/co-author. He is also serving as peer reviewer for some national and international repute journal and magazine such as Indian Farming, Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences, Indian Journal of Agronomy, Vegetable Science, and World Journal of Agricultural Research. He also organized 9 training programs.
