Biography

Dr. T. T. Ajith Kumar is currently working as Senior Scientist at Indian Council of Agricultural Research, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Marine Biology from same Institute. He has 14 years work experience. His current area of research related to Ornamental Aquaculture. His area of expertise includes Development of Hatchery Technologies for Marine Ornamentals Livelihood Development of costal & Island Community, Value Addition to Hatchery Bred Ornamentals. Dr. T. T. Ajith received honor includes Eureka Forbes Young Scientist - Sri Paramakalyani College, Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Best Researcher in Annamalai University, K. Chidambaram memorial annual award for the contribution to marine Ornamental Fish Breeding, Best Marine Aquarium Award, Govt. of Kerala, and Best Marine Aquarium Award, Govt. of Tamil Nadu. He has published 70 research papers in journals, 10 books and 25 book chapters, and 30 popular articles contributed as author/co-author.
