Biography
Dr. Tayyab Subhani is currently working as Assistant Professor and Head at Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has completed his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London, UK, and MS from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan. His area of research interest focuses on Composite Materials: Ceramic, Metallic and Polymeric Matrix Composites, Nanocomposites, Hybrid Composites, Fiber-Metal, Laminates, and Honeycomb structures, Nanomaterials: Synthesis and characterization, Aerospace Materials: Structure-property Relationship, Processing and Characterization. Previously he was appointed as Internee Engineer at Chan Steel Mills, Lahore, Pakistan, Trainee Engineer at Design Development and Fabrication (DDFC) Company, Lahore, Pakistan, Materials Engineer at Olympia Chemicals Limited, Lahore, Assistant Manager Materials at Project Management Organization(PMO), National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), Islamabad, Pakistan, Lecturer, Departmental Coordinator at Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, Lab Demonstrator at Department of Materials, Imperial College London, UK, and Research Scholar at Institute of Biomaterials, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.
