Biography
Professor Dr. Shagufta Perveen FRSC-UK, MACS-US is currently working at Department of Pharmacognosy, College of Pharmacy King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia since 2009. She has completed Postdoctoral ship at H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry (International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences) Karachi, Pakistan and PhD from University of Karachi, Pakistan and University of Southampton, UK. She is a Life time member of Chemical Society of Pakistan, Member of Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, Life time member CAWA KU as well as Editorial Board member of Chemical Science Review and Letters, Academia Journal of Food Research, International Journal of Chemistry and Material Science, Journal of Food Research, Journal of Medical and Biological Science Research (JMBSR). She is reviewer of Natural Product Research, Natural Product Chemistry, Drug Research and many other journals. Her area of research includes Conducted research on Isolation and Characterization of Natural Products, Expert in NMR Solving Spectra, Bio-activity Guided Isolation of Phyto chemical from Medicinal Plants, Marine plants, Synthetic Chemistry, Validated HPLC method for the standardization, expertise E in Modern, HPLC/UPLC Techniques and Synthetic Organic Chemistry. She has awarded grants for her research projects. She has received many awards including, Chosen for Who is Who in the World Encyclopedia, 2013, Research Fellowship award from H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, Indigenous PhD Scholarship, Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan, Initiative research scholarship for abroad Higher Education Commission Pakistan, Government of Pakistan. She has published (50) articles in journals at national and international level.
