Biography

Dr. Abdul Kareem Mohammed Saeed Al Momen is currently working as Professor of Medicine and Hematology/ Oncology College of Medicine, and Director of Center of Excellence in Thrombosis and Hemostasis, College of Medicine, King Saud University. He has completed his M.D. in Internal Medicine from University of Toronto, Canada. He is also serving as editor in chief in Journal of Applied Hematology and member of Scientific Committee of Saudi Board of Hematology for Adults at Saudi Commission of Health Specialties. Previously he was performed his duties as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Hematology/ Oncology College of Medicine, and Associate Director of Transfusion Medicine King Khalid University Hospital. He is active member of many international organizations such as World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH), International Society of Thrombosix & Hemostasis (ISTH), Saudi Society of Transfusion Medicine, Stem Cell and Marrow Transplantation Society, Saudi Scientific Society of Hematology, American Society of Hematology, fellow of American College of Physicians, and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has published 80 research articles in journal, 4 proceedings, and 90 abstracts in conferences contributed as author/co-author.
