Biography

Dr. Rehab Mustafa Badi is currently a full-time associate professor of Human Physiology in King Khalid University (KKU), Faculty of Medicine, Saudi Arabia since 2017. She is also an Assistant Professor of Human Physiology in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum (U of K), Sudan since 2013. She is an MBBS graduate (1999, U of K) who acquired the following qualifications; PhD in human Physiology (2013, U of K), MSc in Medical Education (2017, U of K) and a Diploma in Molecular Medicine (2010, U of K). She teaches Physiology to undergraduate medical, pharmacy, dental and nursing students (Since 2003). Dr. Badi also teaches physiology to postgraduates students in physiology MSc programs in Sudan (Since 2013). She supervises MSc thesis researches and co- supervises PhD researches in the U of K. Her main research field is in Biomedical sciences. She is interested in immunity and metabolic diseases; diabetes mellitus and obesity. She is also interested in complementary medicine, specifically natural antioxidants. She has several publications in the field of Biomedical science.
