Biography

Dr. Faisal has completed his MSc from Wageningen University, The Netherlands in Medical Biotechnology. He is served as a senior specialist in Laboratory Medicine & Pathology at the Kuwait University Hospital for more than 6 years. He was also jointly appointed at Sana’a University, Yemen, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences as Lecturer in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology department. He then earned his PhD degree followed by Postdoctoral studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Faculty of Medicine. He organized and chaired of Metabolism and Genomics group. He has teaching experience of more than 8 years. He has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member and reviewer of peer reviewed Journals in an interdisciplinary research areas. His papers were cited more than 1200 times by other researchers. He has an h-index of 15. He received many awards and certificate of merit from different countries for his scientific excellence in the area of Molecular Nutrition & Biochemistry research. In 2018, Dr.Faisal has joined Nan Yang Academy of Sciences (NAS) in Singapore as a NAS adjunct research advisor.
