Biography

I completed BSc Forestry in 2015 from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry, Pokhara and on 2015 Nepal was hit buy the devastating earthquake so I decided to work for the research in mid-hills forest of Nepal. I joined as a Research officer/Group Leader in a Gorkha Earthquake Project under the financial support from SCIFOR (Science and Power for Participatory Forestry) Project till 2016. After that I again continue my study for MSc in Natural Resource Management at Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry, Pokhara in 2016 and complete by 2018. Having an extensive field work experience in the forest of Nepal, I got accepted for the position of Project Officer in the Living with Tiger Project (Collaborative research on Human Tiger Conflict between Oxford University, Chester Zoon and Green Governance Nepal). I again serve as a research assistant in the Biome Health project to study about the movement of the wildlife from national park, community forestry and Buffer zone. Currently, I am involved in the Green Governance Nepal and work as a guest faculty at Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry, Pokhara. My core areas of interest are Forestry, Wildlife Research, Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (RS & GIS), Disaster management, climate change and extension work.
