Biography
Amir Najafi was born in Roodbar, Iran, in 1978. He received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Poly-Technique), Tehran, Iran, in 2001, 2004 and 2010, respectively. In 2004, he joined the Department of Engineering and Technology, Islamic Azad University of Zanjan, as a Lecturer and faculty member. Since December 2008, he has been with the Department of Engineering and Technology, Islamic Azad University of Zanjan, where he was an Assistant Professor, was an Associate Professor in 2016. His current research interests include Knowledge &Technology Management & Engineering, Business Process Management, Soft Computing, Fuzzy Expert systems, Data Mining and Neural Network. It is a Fellow of the Iranian National Academy of Engineering; the National Academy of Science, the Institution of Engineers; and the Institution of Industrial Engineering and Logistics. Since 2012, he has been the Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering and EMBA, Islamic Azad University of Zanjan, Zanjan, Iran. He is a Technical editor of various international journals. He has published more than 60 scientific papers and books in the field of Industrial engineering and management systems.
