Biography

Dr. Chunrong Jia is currently working as Associate Professor of Environmental Health, School of Public Health, University of Memphis, America. He has completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Health from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. Previously he was appointed as Research Associate at Nankai University, Tianjin, China, and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. His area of research interest focuses on Air pollution exposure and Human Health, Risk assessment, Environmental Epidemiology, Sampling and Analytical Techniques for Air Pollutants, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Environmental Disparity, Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS), and Environmental Impact Assessment. He has completed 5 research projects as principal investigator. He has published 51 research articles in journals as well as 8 peer reviewed monograph and research report, 43 conference papers and abstracts contributed as author/co-author. He is member of editorial board in Journal of Environmental and Public Health, and reviewer for 18 journals. He is member of International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate, International Society of Exposure Science, Air & Waste Management Association, Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco, and Global Health Council. Dr. Chunrong received honors include Nominee, Young Professional (YP) Best Paper Award, Best Paper of China Environmental Science, and Harvard University JPB Environmental Health Fellow. He also delivered number of invited presentations. He successfully supervised 15 MPH Students, and currently supervising 1 PhD student.
