Biography

Dr. Hossam El Din Mohammad Sallam is currently working as Professor at Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Material Engineering from Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt. Previously he was appointed as Designer at Engineering Corps, Egyptian Army, Assistant Education Manger at NEBRAS (IBM Partner), Egypt, and Assistant Professor at Zagazig University, Egypt, Visiting Assistant Professor at Northeastern University USA. He was received Best Researcher Award, the field of Engineering and Computer Science. He is associate editor for Trends in Applied Sciences Research, Asian Journal of Scientific Research, Asian Journal of Applied Sciences, Asian Journal of Materials Science, Research Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, and member of editor board in The Journal of Jazan University, KSA, The Int. J. of Construction Engineering and Management. He has guided 14 PhD students, 16 MSc students. He is also serving as referee for number of journals. He has published 16 research articles in reviewed journals as well as 77 conference papers contributed as author/co-author. He is member of Examination Committee of the submitted Scientific Production for the State Incentive Awards in Engineering Sciences, Panel of Adjudicators 2008-2011, Committee No. 50 for Structural & Construction Engineering, Egyptian Universities Promotion Committees (EUPC), Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), Examination Committee for Professors & Associate Professors, Committee for Structural & Construction Engineering, Al-Azhar University Promotion Committees, and Scientific Committee for Sciences & Technology Unit, Jazan University, KSA.
