Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mahmoud Ahmed Hashem: Bachelor of Applied Arts (1988) with a general grade of very good with honors and second place at the level of the department and college, and a master’s degree in applied arts (1995) specializing in textiles from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, and a PhD in textiles from Menoufia University (1998). ).. He joined the Faculty of Applied Arts and obtained a BA in Spinning, Weaving and Knitting, then joined the job as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Home Economics - Menoufia University (1989) and continued to work until he obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Arts and was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer, then a Ph.D. He obtained the degree of Professor in Textiles in 2010 and held the position of Vice Dean of the Faculty of Home Economics for Community Service and Environmental Development - Menoufia University He was appointed Dean of the Higher Institute of Engineering and Textile Technology in Mahalla, and was seconded to a position as a member of the Committee for Preparing Textile and Carpet Curricula and Training at the Public Authority for Craft Industries affiliated to the Royal Court - Sultanate of Oman for a period of three years, after which he returned and worked as a development consultant in the fields of design and production in many factories and companies operating in the field of textile and clothing. in the Arab Republic of Egypt, he supervised (38) master's theses and (14) doctoral theses and conducted 42 research and working papers that were published in local and international scientific journals and periodicals in both Arabic and EnglishHe has arbitrated about 235 scientific papers published in the fields of design and textile techniques and applications. He participated in many local and international scientific conferences and many industrial and environmental projects in Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman. Egypt In addition to his membership in the committees for the development of the textile sector at the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers, and within the framework of community participation, he was elected a member of the Board of Directors, rapporteur of the scientific committee, and treasurer of the Syndicate of Engineers in Menoufia, in addition to holding the position of general supervisor of the Marketing Center for University Services at Markaz University and the Center for Skills Development, Entrepreneurship and Employment affiliated to it.
