Biography

Dr. Mahmoud Hozayn Mahmoud is currently working as Associate Professor at National Research Centre, Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. in Agronomy from Cairo University, Egypt. In past he worked as Researcher, and Assistant Researcher at National Research Center. His area of research interest focuses on Agronomy Production (Basic Agriculture Treatments i.e., Crop Residues, Tillage Practices, Sowing Date, Sowing Method, Fertilizer, Plant Density etc), Plant Breeding (selection Genotypes against common Weeds ), Safe Weed Management, Allelopathy, Biofertilizers, Bioherbicides, Statistical Analysis, Utilization of Magnetized water in Agriculture, Environmental Stress (salinity, heat), Climate Change. He has published 31 articles in journals as author/co-author. He is also working on research projects as Principal Investigator, and Co-Investigator and member of research team. He also attended number of national and international conferences. He is also serving as reviewer in journals such as Bioelectromagnetics journal and Allelopathy journal. He is also editor in journals such as Academic Journals, and Agriculture and Biology Journal of North America. He is also member of national and international societies such as European of Weed Research Society, The European Water Resources Association, Water Science and Technology Association, Arab Science and Technology foundation, Saudi Society for Life Science, Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society and Egyptian of Field Crops Society, Egyptian of Plant Breeding Society, Egyptian Soil Science Society, and Youth Research Society.
