Biography

Dr. Osama Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed is currently working as Professor at Beni-Suef University, Beni-Suef, Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. in Comparative Physiology from Cairo University, Egypt. He also worked as Administrator, Assistant Lecturer and Lecturer at Cairo University, Head of Zoology Department and Associate Professor at Beni-Suef University, Beni-Suef, Egypt. He is member of professional Associations such as Egyptian German Society of Zoology, Cairo University, Society of the Union of Arab Biologists, Zoology Department, Cairo University, Egyptian Society of Zoology, Zoology Department, Cairo University, Egyptian Society of Toxicology, Ain Shams University, International Brain Research Organization, Neuroscience Group of Egypt, and African Neuroscientists Union or Group. He is also serving as reviewer in number of journals. He is also editor and co-editor of journals and member of editorial board in International Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. His field of interest related to studies on Experimentally-induced type 1 and 2 Diabetes and its Treatment with Medicinal Plants and Plant Constituents Hepatotoxicity and Anti-tumor Activities, Experimentally-induced Hypo- and Hyper Thyroidism, Chemically induced Carcinogenicity and the Treatment of Cancer with Natural Products and Newly Synthesized Organic Compounds. He has 70 publications in journals and presentations in conferences contributed as author/co-author. He also supervised 52 MSc and PhD students.
