Biography

Dr. Maha Mohamed El-sayed Eissa is currently working as Professor in Parasitological Department, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. She obtained her PhD in Parasitology in 1994 from same university. In past she worked as Demonstrator in Parasitology, Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer, Assistant Professor at Alexandria University, Egypt. She is member of editorial board in number of journals and peer reviewer to international journals. She is member of following scientific societies, Egyptian Society of Parasitology, Research Initiative on Traditional Antimalarial Methods, Alexandria Medical Society, Egyptian Society of Laboratory Medicine, Society of Egyptian Parasitology. Dr. Maha received honors include Alexandria University award for scientific research and award for scientific excellence. She supervised 6 MSc and 3 MD students thesis. She has published 45 research articles in journals.
