Biography

Dr. Doina Humelnicu is currently working as Associate Professor at Faculty of Chemistry, Alexandru Ioan Cuz, University of Iasi, Iasi, Romania. Her prior working experience includes Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Preparator at same university. She received her PhD degree in 2000 in Chemistry with thesis entitled: Study of CRUD products that result in the technology for the obtaining the uranium pure nuclear and BSc in Inorganic Chemistry in 1991 from same university. She also attended International Workshop / Symposium on Modern Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in 1995. She published 42 relevant ISI indexed papers and total 210 ISI citations (without self citation), h-index = 10, 3 national, 1 international patent, 8 books and 2 chapters in books. She is a member of Romanian Society of Chemistry and American Nano Society. She is serving as Editorial Board member in Journal of Chemistry, Journal of Nuclear Chemistry, International Journal of Nuclear Energy Science and Engineering and reviewer in more than 10 journals. She also served as member in the research teams of about 30 national research grants.
