Biography

Undergraduate in Chemistry License (Catholic University of Pelotas/Brazil), Master and PhD in Biochemistry (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul/Brazil) and Pos-doc at Université de CAEN/France (UNICAEN). Supervisor of Master and PhD programs (member of the founding team) in the programs of Pharmacy: Pharmaceutical Drugs and Chemical Analyzes/Health Sciences (since 1999) and in the Biochemistry/Biological Sciences (since 2008). Full professor at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC)/Brazil (since 2014). As research experience, develop studies in Pharmacy related to Farmacognosie and Biochemistry focused on effect and mechanism of action of hormones, natural and synthetic compounds related to diabetes and male reproduction fertility. Lead the research group of Endocrinology at CNPq/Brazil since 1997.
