Biography

Novi Yantih is as an associate professor since 2016 at Pharmacy Faculty of University of Pancasila. In 2013, Yantih received an award from Pancasila University because of her dedication for 10 years as a lecturer at the Pharmacy Faculty, University of Pancasila. Yantih has over 15 scientific papers and projects either presented or published. She is a recognized expert in areas of analytical chemistry for quality control of drugs, food, and cosmetics, and bioanalysis for pharmacokinetics study and drug discovery. Yantih is the volunteer reviewer of the Journal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL. Recently, she has carried out to review in May 2017 for the title of HPLC Analysis of Water-Soluble Vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6, B7 and B9) in Milk, Human Urine and Pharmaceutical Formulations. Recent publications include a paper on Analysis of Serum Glutamate Oxaloacetate Transaminase by Photometry in Induced-Isoniazid Rat for Hepatoprotector Activity Test of Pineapple (Ananas comosus) Juice. Yantih is lecture in Faculty of Pharmacy and she routinely lectures on various topics related to advance on analytical chemistry and bioanalysis. Yantih has been awarded the Best Presentation of Research. She is a board member and member of Indonesian Pharmacist Association of South Jakarta branch since 2007 until now. Yantih obtained a research grant from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Indonesia) 3 times in the period 2010-2011, 2013-2014, and 2017-2018. Yantih is also awarded a scholarship from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Indonesia) for doctoral studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Indonesia in 2014. Her dissertation research is about N-acetyltransferase-2 genetic polymorphisms in Melanesian ethnicity from Papua and the effect of pineapple juice as hepatoprotector on INH metabolism in humans. The results are expected to recommend pineapple fruit juice as an adjuvant for tuberculosis patients that consumes INH.
