Biography

Dr. Zhao-Guang Hu is currently working as Deputy Direct General, Vice President, Chief Energy Specialist, Director of the intelligent laboratory (ile4), and the Editor-in-Chief of Electric Power at State Grid Energy Research Institute, State Grid Cor. China. He obtained his PhD. in Electrical Engineering at Electric Power Research Institute in 1989. Dr. Zhao received number of honors includes Award from Ministry of Water and Electric Power of China on: Western Energy Strategy in China, Award from Ministry of Energy of China, Award from Ministry of Electric Power on Expert system of Power Plant Siting, Award from Chinese Central Government on Special allowance experts for great Contribution to Science, Award from Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Award from State Grid on Reviewing Demand Side Management in China and many others. He has published 137 research articles in journals and conferences contributed as author/co-author. He is also working as advisor of graduate students; he supervised 9 MSc students, and 17 PhD students. He is also writer/co-writer of more than 10 books.
