Dr. Ebubekir Ceylan was born in Uşak in Turkey. He received his bachelor’s degree and MSc degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Firat University in 1993. He became Doctor of Science after completing his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Internal Medicine, Veterinary Faculty, and Institute of Health Sciences at Yuzuncu Yil University, Turkey in 1998. Dr. Ebubekir CEYLAN was assigned to the Vocational School of Health Services at Yuzuncu Yil University in 1997. He then continued his academic life temporarily in Bitlis Vocational School of Health Services at Yuzuncu Yil University. He received Associate Professorship in the Department of Veterinary Internal Medicine in December 2004. In 2006, he was assigned to the Department of Internal Medicine of Veterinary Faculty at Yuzuncu Yil University. He was then appointed as the editor of Yuzuncu Yil University Veterinary Faculty Journal in 2010. In 2008, he was appointed as the coordinator of the National and International Education Office (ERASMUS and FARABI Exchange Programs) at Yuzuncu Yil University. He carried out scientific researches in the Faculty of Life Science at the University of Manchester in England for three months in 2011. He has several articles published in national and international scientific journals. Additionally, he presented several papers at a large number of national and international scientific congresses and seminars. Dr. Ebubekir CEYLAN became a professor in 2010. In 2011, Professor Ebubekir CEYLAN was assigned as the Van City Representative of ÖSYM (National Student Selection and Placement Center). In 2012, Professor Ebubekir CEYLAN was assigned as the Rector of Hakkari University. He is also a reviewer and an editorial board member of many journals. He is refereeing in several national and periodical journals. He is still publisher and Editor in Chief of the TURKISH JOURNAL OF VETERINARY RESEARCH (TJVR)
