Biography

Dr. Gurcan Guleryuz is currently working as Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Biology at Uludag University Bursa, Turkey. He obtained his PhD degree in Botany, Plant Ecology from same university and MSc in Medical Biology and Genetic from Aegean University Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Izmir. His topic of PhD thesis is “The studies on the nutrient turnover and productivity at some plant communities of Uludag alpine region”. His field of specialization is plant ecology, eco-physiology. His area of expertise includes nitrogen mineralization, nitrate reductase activity, geographical information system (GIS), heavy metal, and seed germination. His experience includes worked as Research Assistant and Assistant Professor at Uludag University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Biology, Bursa. He published 40 research articles in national and international journals as author/co-author.
