Biography

Dr. Sanjay Mishra is currently working as Professor & Dean, School of Biotechnology at IFTM University, India. He has completed his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Lucknow, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India and Postdoctoral Fellow in Biological Sciences from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, USA, and Boston Biomedical Research Institute, Watertown, MA, USA. He has gathered rich and varied experience of 27 years in International and Indian research and teaching institutions including working as Visiting Scientist and Research Associate in Japan & USA. He has supervised 8 PhD scholars, and authored more than 90 research papers in International /National journals and presented 50 papers in conferences. He also contributed two book chapters: (a) in a book on Nanobiotechnology; (b) in a book, Plants and Microbes: An Innovative Approach. His current research interests in Biochemistry and Biotechnology including: Cancer Biology, Immunology & Medicine, Tuberculosis, Enzymology & Protein Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. He is Managing Editor for Frontiers in Bioscience (USA), Associate Editor of Trends in Medical Research, American Journal of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Asian Journal of Biochemistry, and Research Journal of Immunology and member of editorial board and reviewer for 36 journals of International repute. He is life member of Society for the Study of Reproduction, USA, Society of Biological Chemists, India, American Chemical Society, USA, and Alumni Association of Department of Biochemistry, University of Lucknow, India.
