Biography

Mr. Gaurav Mahesh Doshi is currently working as Assistant Professor at Vivekanand Education Societys College of Pharmacy, University of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is Ph.D. Student in Pharmacy from Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University, India. He also worked as Professional Sale Representative, IPCA Laboratories Ltd. Mumbai, Production Officer, Cipla Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, and Clinical Research Coordinator, Quintiles Pvt. Ltd. His main area of research interest focuses on activity guided extraction (anti-inflammatory-in vivo animal models and antioxidant activity), Quantization of Extracted Plant by HPTLC, Bioactivity and Safety Evaluation of Extracted Plants, Pharmacology Instruments Handling: Analgesiometer, Rota-rod Apparatus, Plethysmometer & Homogenizer etc, and Analytical methods: UV-spectrometry, Dissolution apparatus, HPTLC.HPLC, GC-MS, and LC-MS. He has published 23 research and review papers in international and national journals. He is member of editorial board in 1 journal. He is also serving as reviewer for 10 international journals. He was awarded Smt. Jethibai Hirdaram Jagtiani Award for securing the highest marks at M. Pharm. Sci. exam by Prin. K. M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy, and Qualified GATE examination in March 2005 with score of 86.06. He is life member of Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council, and The Indian Pharmaceutical Association.
