Dr B. Leena grace grew up at Kanyakumari District, India. She obtained her PhD degree in the department of Aquatic biology and fisheries from University of Kerala ,Thiruvananthapuram in 2004.she earned her M.Phil degree in the department of coastal area studies from Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Tamil Nadu in 1998. Her topic of PhD thesis is “Influence of Environmental Parameters on Estuarine Biodiversity and Germplasm Conservation of Arius arius (Hamilton-Buchanan) and Glossogobius giuris (Hamilton -Buchanan)”. Her past experience includes, more than 16 years teaching and 16 years research experience in the field of Biotechnology, Environmental sciences and animal sciences in Gogate joghelker college, Selvam college, Vinayaka Missions University and Kerala University, she spent her research exposure of 16 years in Environmental Chemistry Conservation Biology, herbal biotechnology,cancer biology, pollution biology etc. according to the researchers need. Dr B. Leena grace is serving as member of Editorial board in biodiversity, bioremediation and biotechnology, terrestrial and aquatic toxicology in GSB Reviewer in Aquaculture-Elsevier, Biotechnology, Associate Editor in Journal of Biological Sciences, International Journal of Zoological Research, Regional Editor in Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Science, Research Journal of Environmental Sciences and ANSI. She also presented 17 papers in national and international conferences and also participated in number of workshops. Dr B. Leena grace was honored with awards such as University of Kerala fellowships for PhD; 1st rank in M.Sc at College level and international women researcher award 2019. She published 35 articles in journals and proceedings at national and international level as author/co-author. She is also supervising B.Tech, M.Tech, M.SC, M.Phil and PhD students and serving as organising member in national and international seminars of her institution.
