Biography

Dr B. Leena grace grew up at Kanyakumari District India. She obtained her PhD degree in the field of Biodiversity and Conservation from University of Kerala Trivandrum in 2003, M.Phil in the field of Cryopreservation from Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Tamil Nadu in 1998. Her topic of PhD thesis is “Influence of Environmental Parameters on Estuarine Biodiversity and Germplasm Conservation of Arius arius (Hamilton-Buchanan) and Glossogobius giuris (Hamilton -Buchanan)”. Her past experience includes, more than twelve years teaching and fifteen years research experience in the field of Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology in Vinayaka Missions University and Kerala University, research experience of 5+ years in Environmental Chemistry and Conservation Biology, Developed and Performed Page, Age, TLC, Isolation of DNA and RNA, Widal test Differential Cell count, Immuno-precipitation, Immuno-fluorescence and Immobilization. Dr B. Leena grace is member of Editorial board in biodiversity, bioremediation and biotechnology, terrestrial and aquatic toxicology in GSP, Reviewer in Aquaculture-Elsevier, Biotechnology, Associate Editor in Journal of Biological Sciences, International Journal of Zoological Research, Regional Editor in Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Science, Research Journal of Environmental Sciences and ANSI. She also presented in national and international conferences and also participated in number of workshops. Dr B. Leena grace received honors include University of Kerala fellowships for PhD; 1st rank in M.Sc at College level. She published 18 articles in journals and 1 proceeding at national and international level as author/co-author. She is also supervising B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Phil and PhD students.
