Biography

Dr. Vijay R Chidrawar is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Northern Border University, since 2014. He completed his Ph.D. studies from Saurashtra University (Dept. of Pharmacy) Gujarat, India. He has a good level of knowledge and experience in the field of pharmaceutical care plan evaluation and prescription analysis. He has authored more than 65 research articles and review articles in well reputed indexed National and international journals. He has presented many scientific papers at national and international conferences. He judged 02 Ph.D. thesis, 22 masters (research), 10 graduations (research projects) works, and 6 funded research projects. In consideration of the importance of various diseases like Osteoporosis, Cancer, infertility, obesity, and Diabetes in Saudi Arabia, he shifted his research work to this field. He has more than 13 years of teaching and research experience at various institutes. In 2016, one of his research got first prize at International Conference in Dubai, DUPHAT 2016. He is a life member of professional bodies like the Indian Pharmacological Society and Indian Pharmacognostic Society. He was invited to deliver lectures in India and Saudi Arabia at various conferences. Dr. Vijay is actively involved in training and research at Northern Border University. He is also serving as associate editor-in-chief, member of scientific journal editorial boards, advisor of scientific journal advisory boards, and reviewer of journal review boards.
