Biography

Dr. Kaizar Hossain, working as Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Asutosh College (Estd. 1916)- Calcutta University, Kolkata, India. He also worked at PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences, Ongole and and GITAM University; Hyderabad Campus, India.

Dr. Kaizar Hossain, an ardent and dynamic personality, completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Environment and Water Management from Burdwan University, West Bengal and Master of Science (M.Sc) in Environmental Studies from Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh. He is a doctorate with his Ph.D in Environmental Sciences from GITAM University collaboration with ILU-6, RTDD/BARC/ DAE, Mumbai, and has awarded as Post-Doctoral Fellow by USM- TWAS Italy. He has published number of research paper in various reputed ISI/Scopus indexed journals and participated in national and international conferences. He is an editorial board member of various reputed indexed national and international journals. He was the Member of International Steering Committee of 2nd 3rd & 4th International Conference on Sustainable Development, ICSD-2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 Rome, Italy. He is National Panel of Expert of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) – India and Life member of National Association for Application of Radio-isotopes and Radiation in Industry (NAARRI) Mumbai. His area of interest includes Remediation Technology for pollution mitigation (water & soil) and Climate change and its effect on water resource and agriculture. He has been highly regarded as a popular teacher by the students, who is firm but at the same time friendly. As an ardent learner and a stern leader he steers his career towards unprecedented heights.
