Biography

Dr. Yazeed Ahmad Al-Sbou is currently working Assistant Professor at Computer Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Mu’tah University, Al-Karak, Jordan. He has completed his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, England, UK, and Post Doctorate Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. Previously he was appointed as Electrical Engineer at Jordanian Cement Factories Company, Communications Engineer at Jordanian Civil Aviation, Queen Alia International Airport, Amman, Jordan, and Lecturer at Communications Technology Department, College of Communication and Electronics, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, UK, Researcher at University of Kaiserslautern, Kaiserslautern, Germany. His area of research interest focuses on wired and wireless computer networks performance evaluation, quality of service (QoS) analysis and assessment of computer networks, image processing and image denoising, routing in wireless computer networks, fuzzy logic and neural networks applications, speech processing, simulation and modeling, and multimedia transmission/reception over telecommunications networks. He is member of the Jordanian Engineers Association. He has published 1 book chapter, and 13 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
