Biography

Dr. Mohammadreza Davari is currently working as a Lecturer in Department of Agriculture at Payame Noor University, Iran. He completed his PhD in 2010 from Indian Agricultural Research Institute in New Delhi, India. His area of work includes Sustainable Agriculture, Organic Farming, Crop Nutrition and Climate-smart Agriculture. His responsibilities includes the Head of Eco-friendly Agriculture Group of KS NGO, the Head of International Affairs Group of Markazi Province NGO’s Home, the Member of The International Society of Organic Agriculture Research, Iran, Representative of YPARD (Young Professional Platform for Agricultural Development) and in Board Committee of Iran Organic Society (Markazi Province branch) and also responsible for some other local, regional or national missions. His prior work experience includes Innovation of Enriched Vermicompost, Enriched Vermiwash, Aqua-phyto Buofertilizer Production Unit, and Biological Purifier for Indoor Places and Research on Integrated Farming System of “Pistachio- Rose- Saffron” as a Climate-Smart Practice for Iran’s Dry Agro-ecosystems. He has published more than 70 articles in international and national peer reviewed journals and symposiums. He wrote a book entitled Organic farming of rice-based cropping systems and a chapter “Part II: biofertilizers” in a book entitled Organic agricultural practices: alternatives to conservational agricultural systems and a chapter (Vol II: Biofertilizers: Preparation and Uses) in a book entitled Fertilizers Technology in English and five scientific books in Persian language. He is also serving more than 10 journals as Editor/Reviewer.
