Biography

Dr. Kiomars Sefidi is currently working as Head of Forest Science, Wood and Paper Technology Department Faculty Agriculture Technology and of Natural Resources, University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Ardabil, Iran. He has completed his Ph.D. in Silviculture and Forest Ecology from University of Tehran, Iran. He also performed his duties as Lecturer in University of Tehran, Azad University and Mohaghegh Ardabili University, and Research and Educational Assistant of Dr Mohadjer and teaching Forest Ecology course in forestry department of University of Tehran. His main area of interest related to Forest Stand Dynamics, Dynamics of Coarse Woody Debris, Upland Hardwood Silviculture, Management of mixed and Uneven Aged Forest Stands, Natural Disturbance Ecology, Forest and Climate Change. He has published 28 research articles in journals as well as 1 book contributed as author/co-author. He also presented 8 presentations in conferences.
