Biography

Dr. Amir Najafi was born in Roodbar, Iran, in 1978. He received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Poly-Technique), Tehran, Iran, in 2001, 2004 and 2010, respectively. In 2004, he joined the Department of Engineering and Technology, Islamic Azad University of Zanjan, as a Lecturer and faculty member. Since December 2008, he has been with the Department of Engineering and Technology, Islamic Azad University of Zanjan, where he was an Assistant Professor, will become an Associate Professor in 2014 (under process). His current research interests include Business Process Management and Accounting, Operational Research, Knowledge &Technology Management, Fuzzy Expert systems, clustering and Neural Network. Dr. Najafi is a Fellow of the Iranian National Academy of Engineering; the National Academy of Science, India; the Institution of Engineers (India); and the Institution of Industrial Engineering and Logistics. From 2002 to 2014, he was the Director, executive Deputy, Vice President and Senior Consultant of various Companies in Tehran, Iran. Since 2012, he has been the Dean of the Department of Industrial Engineering and EMBA, Islamic Azad University of Zanjan, Zanjan, Iran. He is a Technical editor of various international journals. He has published more than 60 scientific papers and books in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems.
